A Bit About Chris Taylor

Welcome! I am an Emmy Award-winning producer, photographer, and videographer who lives in Palm Springs, California with my partner John and our two puppies (Sydney and Pebbles). 

I have worked in television for more than 25 years, but have spent a lifetime on the job. At age 5, my first big vacation was to LA where we visited (of course) Disneyland. But it was our day at Universal Studios that really opened my eyes. I was instantly hooked on the world of lights, cameras, and action. I'd regularly steal ... "borrow" ... my parents' camcorder (they probably knew all along) and made countless little movies mostly starring Molly, my Border Collie.

Since then, I have gone on to work some of the biggest events in the world such as the Olympics and the Super Bowl. I've produced and shot for ABC, ESPN, FOX Sports, and the UFC. But I'm equally proud of the smaller video and photography projects I've done for local people and businesses — including a little spa who had yet to welcome its first customer. 

Regardless of the scope of the project or the size of the audience viewing it, my objective is always the same: to tell a story the best it can possibly be told, and make it look as good as it possibly can. Many chefs will tell you that they cook with love. The same can be said for how I approach every project that I take on.
